With a lovely ruby colour, this wine shows a complex combination of strawberry, cherry and vanilla, typical of the Alexandra Basin grapes. The French oak integrates fully in the palate, bringing length and density together with the strong tannic structure.  A wine to enjoy now but worth cellaring for 5-7 years.

The Perseverance 2011 Pinot Noir displays a dark ruby colour and shows concentrated flavours of dark fruits (wild cherry and plum), spice (white pepper and cinnamon) with subtle aromas of vanilla beans. The natural sweetness of 100% Central Otago and Estate-grown Pinot Noir grapes give length and texture to the wine. The tannins are well integrated and their richness will benefit from some bottle aging. Enjoy the Perseverance 2011 Pinot Noir from 2013-2018.

The Perseverance 2012 Pinot Noir displays a pale ruby colour with a very elegant fruity bouquet (raspberry, strawberry and cherries) and delicate herbs and savoury (bread crust and vanilla) complexities. Medium weighted, the wine has a juicy palate with a supple tannic structure the will allow a perfect match with white and delicate meat (chicken, quail, rabbit) as well as all the summer favourites such as pizzas, salads and cheese.

The Perseverance 2012 Pinot Gris displays powerful aromas of tropical fruits and nashi pears. The palate is concentrated with a well balanced acidity and finishing on smooth notes of ripe nectarine.

The grapes used in crafting this wine were selected to achieve an intensity of flavour necessary for a true dessert wine. A subtle blend of Pinot cousins - 90% Pinot Gris grapes and 10% Pinot Noir grapes has produced a wine with very delicate aromas of stone fruits, citrus and line tree and has a palate of powerful flavours of nectarine, white peach and strawberry. Sugar 90g/litre.
